Ulrik Frederik Christian Arneberg
Ulrik Frederik Christian Arneberg (15 June 1829 – 30 October 1911) was a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party.
He served as County Governor of ''Bratsberg Amt'' (today named Telemark) from 1881 to 1889.〔(Norwegian Counties ) — World Statesmen.org〕
He then entered national politics, as a member of the Council of State Division in Stockholm from 13 July 1889 to 1 July 1890. On this day, he was appointed Minister of Justice and the Police in the first cabinet Stang. He held this position until the first cabinet Stang fell on 5 March 1891.〔(Ulrik Frederik Christian Arneberg ) — Norwegian Social Science Data Services (NSD)〕
After this he was appointed County Governor of ''Smaalenenes Amt'' (today named Østfold). He held the position until 1905.〔 In 1892 he was elected to the Norwegian Parliament, oddly enough representing the constituency Brevik,〔 located in Telemark where had formerly been County Governor.
